The Ministry of Minority Affairs implements scheme of Post-matric scholarship for minority students studying in class XI onwards up to Ph.D level. Minimum 30% seats have been earmarked for minority girls under the scheme. The details of Post-matric scholarship scheme are available on Ministry’s official website www.minorityaffairs.gov.in. Further, the Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF), an autonomous body under the Ministry, also implements an exclusive Scholarship Scheme for meritorious girls belonging to minority communities for class XI and XII. The details of scheme are available on the website of MAEF www.maef.nic.in.

Under Post-matric scholarship scheme, gender-wise details of funds released are not maintained. However, State-wise number of minority girls benefitted during last three years are at Annexure-I. Further, the State-wise details of funds spent on scholarships awarded by MAEF to Minority girl students during last three years are at Annexure-II.
