ACC Appointments
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments:
1 Shri Sanjay Kothari, IAS(HY.78), Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Secretary, Department of Pensions & Pensioners’ Welfare as Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training vice Shri Syamal Kumar Sarkar, IAS(WB.79), on his retirement on 31.07.2014.
2. Shri N. Ravi Shanker, IAS(UK.80), Administrator, Universal Service Obligation Fund, Department of Telecommunications, as Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Secretary, Department of Pensions & Pensioners’ Welfare vice Shri Sanjay Kothari, IAS(HY.78) on his relinquishing the charge of post.
3. Shri Rajan S. Katoch, IAS(MP.79), Enforcement Director, Department of Revenue as Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry vice Shri Sutanu Behuria, IAS(HP.76), on his retirement on 31.07.2014. Shri Katoch will also look after the duties of the post of Enforcement Director in addition to the charge of Secretary (Heavy Industry) for a period of six months or till the appointment of a regular incumbent as Enforcement Director, whichever is earlier.
4. Shri Sanjay Kumar Panda, IAS(MT.80), at present in the cadre, as Secretary, Ministry of Textiles vice Ms. Zohra Chatterji, IAS(UP.79), on her retirement on 31.07.2014.
5. Shri Jugal Kishore Mohapatra, IAS(OR.79), at present in the cadre, as Secretary, Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers in the vacancy of Shri Shaktikanta Das, IAS(TN.80).
6. Shri Rakesh Garg, IAS(UP.80), at present in the cadre, as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in the vacancy of Shri M.F. Farooqui, IAS(TN.78) (Retired).
7. Shri Hara Krushna Das, IAS(GJ.80), at present in the cadre, as Secretary, Inter State Council Secretariat under Ministry of Home Affairs in the vacancy of Shri Tabom Bam, IAS(UT.77) (Retired).
8. Shri Shankar Agarwal, IAS(UP.80), Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development, as Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development in the vacancy of Shri Sudhir Krishna, IAS(KN.77) (Retired).
9. Shri Vinay Sheel Oberoi, IAS(AM.79), as Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development vice Shri Shankar Agarwal, IAS(UP.80), on his relinquishing the charge of the post.
10. Ms. Archana Ranjan, IRS(IT.79), as Special Secretary-cum-Director General, Central Economic Intelligence Bureau under Department of Revenue against the existing vacancy.
